Photography
Taking good photographs of sharks depends on two main factors: "getting" the right moment in a particular situation and the correct camera settings. The former can be learned by understanding the swim pattern of sharks under different scenarios, the latter by mastering essential aspects of digital underwater photography. Nevertheless, sometimes neither makes it "happen" and the use of programs like Photoshop® is needed. This workshop covers the correct use of shutter speeds, aperture, histograms etc., gives a detailed introduction and application of many features of Photoshop®, and will also teach how swim patterns and approach behavior of sharks have to be interpreted to make the picture "happen."
